    On page 2, line 27 of the striking amendment, after "(10)" insert the following:

    ""Inaccessible component part" means:

    (a) A part that is located inside the product and is not capable of being touched or mouthed, whether or not such part is visible to a user of the product; and

    (b) A part that may be enclosed in any type of material, including but not limited to hard or soft plastic, rubber, or metal.

    (11)"

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 3, line 9 of the striking amendment, after "(vii)" insert "Inaccessible component parts;

    (viii)"

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Exempts inaccessible electronic components from the scope of products subject to information requests and alternative assessment orders by the Department of Ecology.
