    On page 23, line 16 of the striking amendment, after "a" strike all material through "product" on line 19 and insert "children's product or residential upholstered furniture or an importer or domestic distributor of a children's product or residential upholstered furniture. For purposes of this subsection, "importer" means the owner of the children's product or residential upholstered furniture"

EFFECT:  Defines a manufacturer as a producer, importer, or domestic distributor of children's products or residential upholstered furniture for the purposes of flame retardant restrictions and the chemical use reporting requirements of the Children's Safe Product Act (RCW 70.240).
