    On page 17, line 27, strike the General FundB-Private/Local appropriation.

    On page 17, line 37, strike "146,633,000" and insert "$147,473,000".

    On page 61, line 25, increase the general fundB-state appropriation for FY 2003 by $1,814,000.

    Adjust the totals accordingly.

EFFECT: Eliminates the proposed transfer of 50 percent of the legal costs associated with the Special Commitment Center to the counties.  The impact of the amendment is to increase general fund-state appropriations by $1.8 million.
