VETO MESSAGE ON HB 1350-S

To the Honorable Speaker and Members,

  The House of Representatives of the State of Washington

Ladies and Gentlemen:

     I am returning herewith, without my approval as to section 11 of Substitute House Bill No. 1350, entitled:

"AN ACT Relating to commercial shrimp fishing licenses."

     Section 11 requires Sections 2 and 4 through 8 of this act to be codified in the Commercial Fishing chapter (75.28 RCW) of the Revised Code of Washington.  However a number of these sections should be codified in the License Limitation chapter (75.30 RCW) of the Revised Code of Washington.  I am therefore vetoing Section 11 and directing the Code Reviser to codify sections 2 and 4 in chapter 75.28 RCW and sections 5 through 8 in chapter 75.30 RCW.

     With the exception of section 11, Substitute House bill No. 1350 is approved.
