Expanding the medical care savings account study to all state residents.

    AN ACT Relating to medical care savings accounts; and amending 1993 c 492 s 484 (uncodified).

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

    Sec. 1.  1993 c 492 s 484 (uncodified) is amended to read as follows:

    The Washington health services commission shall study and report to the legislature by January 1, 1995, on the feasibility of offering employer-funded medical care savings account arrangements and reduced cost qualified higher deductible insurance policies as a choice to ((K-12 system, state, and local government employees in meeting their health care obligations)) all residents in the state in meeting the requirements of chapter 43.72 RCW and submit legislation to the governor and the appropriate legislative committees by January 1, 1995.
